Thomas D. Moline is executive vice president of TimkenSteel’s commercial operations, overseeing all sales, marketing and business development activities with a focus on realizing the potential of the company’s unique capabilities. Tom most recently served as executive vice president of manufacturing, in which he oversaw all steelmaking operations and led a five-year capital investment program that resulted in a combination of assets that’s unique in the American steel industry. He joined the company in 1984 to serve as an engineer on the team that built the Faircrest Steel Plant. Throughout his career, he served in numerous leadership positions in manufacturing, including managing the Harrison Steel Plant and serving as director of operations at a tube-manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom. Active in his local community, Tom serves on the board of the Ohio and Erie Canalway Association. Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
